The Business

We're looking for a Business Analyst to join us at RBS International in Jersey

  • You'll work collectively with many different divisions and stakeholders, and will take responsibility for small work streams

What you'll do

You'll be helping support the successful implementation of the Independent Commission on Banking (ICB) change programme to form a Ring-Fenced bank, along with a Non-Ring-Fenced bank that RBSI are part of.

Day to day in your role, you'll be:

  • Supporting the Project Manager across a number of work streams, contributing to delivery of the project plan within time, cost and quality
  • Researching, analysing and evaluating all the options that are related to rebranding multiple disciplines and business functions, allowing you to provide recommendations back to the Project Manager
  • Managing the partial delivery of the project plan, where you'll be working closely with the Programme Office to drive quality and improvements
  • Drafting project documentation, such as Business Requirements, Implementation Approach and Post Project Reviews
  • Working with all project stakeholders to make sure they have a full understanding of their responsibilities and commitments to the programme, as well as the impact of the project on their respective businesses

The skills you'll need

You'll be able to draw on your background of products and services in a banking or financial services environment. You'll have the ability to research, analyse and evaluate, with experience in project and change management being ideal, but not essential. You'll be able to understand customer touch points, allowing you to undertake analysis to determine any areas for rebranding.

We're also looking for:

  • Experience of drafting project documentation, including business requirements, implementation approach, and post project reviews
  • The ability to plan, organise and prioritise workloads and work on your own initiative
  • Clear and concise communication skills, being able to manage and influence stakeholders of all levels and tailoring the content and approach to the specific audience

There may also be a requirement for travel within the UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man as part of the role.

What else you need to know

Due to local legislation, you’ll need to be registered as ‘Entitled’ or ‘Entitled to work’ residential status to undertake this role.
