  • We’ll look to you to conduct safe and efficient dealing and ensure fair management of client propositions
  • You’ll be providing specialist and technical knowledge, trading strategies, and expertise in the highly regulated global securities markets

What you'll do

As our Junior Client Dealer, you’ll deliver our Securities Dealing Service for bank-wide propositions in accordance with FCA regulations. You’ll provide a proactive, first-class service to direct clients, and you’ll manage and execute trades in equity, fixed income, unit trusts, exchange traded funds, collective investment schemes, secondary structured products, and ISA’s, with approved counterparties on a consistent and timely basis.

You’ll also:

  • Develop a strong service culture towards our stakeholders and contribute towards the incremental development of our platform
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of relevant policies and procedures
  • Make sure that we operate within the risk and control frameworks as described within the risk assessments
  • Support the effective implementation of system upgrades to further enhance best execution delivery and the client order capture experience
  • Deliver in line with risk appetite, against all relevant statutory, regulatory, supervisory, and legal obligations, escalating concerns where appropriate

The skills you'll need

We’re looking for someone with experience dealing in a client facing role covering all asset classes. You’ll be highly organised, and able to respond to requests in a timely and efficient manner. You’ll also hold at least a Level 3 Capital Markets Qualification.

In addition to this, we’re looking for:

  • Knowledge of execution venues and trading methods for all asset classes
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A strong, in-depth understanding of the UK protection market and the ability to demonstrate how protection products are utilised to meet client needs
  • The ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in all activities and minimise the risk of errors
