What you'll do

You’ll be managing the growth, profitability and business mix of an assigned portfolio. And you’ll be acting as a trusted adviser to investment clients, developing and delivering their wealth plans.

We’ll look to you to deliver profitable and sustainable business growth across a broad product range. And you’ll be undertaking investment and pension reviews, engaging specialists where appropriate, and ensuring that the various client experience guidelines are adhered to.

You’ll also be:

  • Identifying and converting significant or high potential prospects and acquiring new client relationships
  • Managing clients through the whole client relationship management process, from building new client relationships to enhancing those relationships
  • Ensuring first class regulatory compliance and risk management for your assigned portfolio
  • Making sure client reviews are completed in a timely manner, including updating client profiles and wealth balance sheets for all clients
  • Acting as a role model through exemplary new business development, client management and stewardship

The skills you'll need

To succeed in this role, you’ll need strong investment skills, including expertise in detailed client profiling, risk analysis and asset allocation. And you’ll need the ability to articulate current views on the macroeconomic environments and financial markets.

You’ll also have an appropriate qualification in accordance with FCA Training and Competence handbook, covering advice activity of securities, derivatives, and packaged products, as well as holding a minimum of QCA level 4.

You’ll also demonstrate:

  • Experience of providing first class regulated advice
  • Excellent client relationship management and acquisition skills
  • The ability to act as a representative in the market place and build powerful relationships
  • Proven competence in discussing and negotiating advice pricing
