What you'll do

The expectations of our clients and the standards we set ourselves are high. In this role you'll be developing a deep understanding of our clients' needs and working to deliver a world class customer experience.

You’ll assist with the administration of a range of trusts, acting as point of contact for our clients and intermediaries, and ensuring all requirements are met and the bank's regulations are adhered to. You'll calculate trust tax liabilities (inheritance tax, capital gains tax, income tax) and prepare tax certificates as appropriate.

With the ability to work independently, you’ll undertake a diverse array of specialist technical duties, using relevant tools and processes with minimal direct supervision. You'll act as the day to day point of contact for clients where you'll strive to develop strong client relationships, based upon transparency, trust, and simplicity. You'll be providing a vital channel of communication, conveying necessary information and professionally managing client expectations. You’ll also maintain a high level of industry knowledge in order to provide swift solutions for a variety of queries.

The skills you'll need

Do you have outstanding interpersonal skills and one or more of the following.

  • A STEP diploma in England and Wales or Scotland
  • ATT qualification with Inheritance Tax, Trust and Estate paper or
  • A high level of specialist technical or taxation knowledge gained by experience in the Trust field
