Join us as a Senior Investment Communications Analyst in London

  • You'll produce client-facing and internal investment publications for several key brands, including Coutts, NatWest and RBS
  • It's an opportunity to produce high quality content that will be viewed by colleagues bank wide

What you'll do

You'll assist the team with producing client-facing and internal investment publications - including writing of internal communications - and you'll add value by significantly boosting the efficiency and productivity of the Financial Advice & Investment Solutions (FAIS) Communications function. You'll distribute investment Centre of Excellence (CoE) content across the bank, support the increasing pace of communications internally and externally, and produce documents for key brands, including Coutts, NatWest, RBS and RBS International. 

Working closely with the Investment Communications Analyst, you'll produce monthly client reports and factsheets related to content produced by FAIS. You'll produce and adapt more complex investment communications across the different brands, and across different mediums, including written articles, presentations, film content and webinars. 

Additionally, you'll:

  • Distribute investment-related communications produced by FAIS across bank wide channels
  • Design and create internal documentation to increase awareness and understanding of the investment views of FAIS
  • Proof-read, and edit communications for Financial Promotions compliance as set out in the team's procedure document
  • Complete administrative tasks, deliver communications in line with schedules and provide ongoing management information related to the delivery and impact of content
  • Coordinate and schedule FAIS related events
  • Maintain a high degree of accuracy in publications, publish documents correctly under the right branding and keep archives up to date

The skills you'll need

We're looking for someone with an Investment Management Certificate or some investment experience. Along with strong communication skills - both verbal and in writing - you'll be fully competent using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel. You'll have excellent interpersonal skills to establish good relations within both the team and the wider business. Any design or production experience would be a plus.

You'll also demonstrate:

  • Attention to detail, and the ability to think outside of established processes and suggest improvements
  • The ability to balance workloads and multiple tasks to meet deadlines
  • The ability to escalate any issues that arise
  • Strong numeracy skills and good knowledge of investments and financial markets
