  • We’re looking for a dedicated, telephony-based Client Banking Manager to join us in Private Banking at Adam & Company
  • Working in this dynamic and client facing environment, you’ll utilise your skills and experience to develop close and personalised relationships with our clients
  • You'll ultimately be supporting our clients' ambitions by delivering business expertise and making things simple

What you'll do

As Client Banking Manager, you'll provide a consistent, credible and accessible point of contact for a portfolio of clients, and will be dedicated to building and deepening client relationships.

You'll deliver proactive client services through structured Client Review conversations in order to identify opportunities and build relationships. You'll also contribute to Private Banking targets by referring clients to the Core Banking and Financial Planning teams in a smooth and consistent way, having identified clients' needs to deliver outstanding service and meet business objectives by increasing share of wallet.

You'll also be:

  • Undertaking joint meetings with both regulated bankers and financial planners, referring business to each as appropriate
  • Collaborating with other departments within Adam & Company and RBS for the benefit of the team and our clients
  • Acting as the point of reference for resolving client issues and complaints
  • Undertaking care calls in line with policy and documented procedures while adhering to and actively promoting our commitment to treating clients fairly

The skills you'll need

As a Client Banking Manager, you’ll demonstrate a good understanding and knowledge of the application of sales and marketing processes, relevant regulated and non-regulated products, services, procedures and reporting requirements, plus money laundering and compliance regulations.

A CeMAP qualification or equivalent is desirable, and other financial qualifications would be advantageous. 

We'll also look to you to demonstrate:

  • Strong credit management and stewardship experience together with sales or business development experience
  • A commitment to achieving the appropriate benchmark qualifications within agreed time scales
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • An ability to build networks both internally and externally in order to achieve growth and win new business in a challenging environment
  • The ability to plan, organise and manage your time effectively under pressure
