The Business

We're hiring a Product Manager to join us in London

  • This high profile Product Manager role is an opportunity to manage credit card and unsecured lending products for our renowned private banking brands, Coutts and Adam & Company
  • You'll manage the products in your remit from end-to-end, and take the leading role in the transformation and growth of our unsecured lending business
  • You can expect a great deal of variety, and will have the opportunity to hone your product management expertise in a fast paced environment

What you'll do

You'll be developing our unsecured lending business, providing holistic management of the credit card and unsecured lending products portfolio for Coutts and Adam & Co. Keeping the needs of our clients, the bank and our regulators at the forefront of your work, you'll be managing the products, pricing and associated framework. Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Supporting our Unsecured Lending Products Lead in developing the long term product strategy, and establishing an effective approach to risk management for your products
  • Overseeing all stages of the product lifecycle, from new product development to decommissioning, making sure they're fair to both new and existing clients whilst optimising revenue in line with business risk appetite and regulatory requirements
  • Advising colleagues in relation to any project and operating model changes that impact credit cards and unsecured lending products, as well as providing accurate technical knowledge for our client facing teams
  • Building strong working relationships within your business area, and acting as an advocate for unsecured lending product training by raising awareness of our existing proposition and new product launches

The skills you'll need

We're looking for an experienced product manager, with experience managing credit card or unsecured lending products. You'll have experience working with the relevant policies and regulations, and an understanding of the UK and regulatory market for unsecured lending. While not essential, experience of launching new products and of the wealth market are desirable.

We'll also expect:

  • Solid commercial acumen with the ability to seek opportunities for innovation and improvement
  • The ability to work independently and prioritise your own workload
  • The ability to remain up-to-date with marketplace developments, and to grow a product base
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills

You'll put your ability to communicate in a clear and compelling way to full use, as you work with a range of stakeholders and senior executives to influence and implement change.
