The Requirements

Join us as Financial Planning Centre Associate in Bristol

  • You'll provide financial planning technical support Financial Planning Centre to our advisers, their assistants and our clients 
  • In this unique opportunity, you'll be able to develop your financial planning skills as part of a fast-paced team as you provide thought leadership 
  • As part of this role, you’ll also be working towards an externally recognised qualification that will help you deliver an outstanding service to our customers (QCF Level 6)

What you'll do

You'll provide financial planning technical support to the advisers and assistants on new and existing business transactions including calculations, and project work.

You'll be accountable to take action personally on cases, especially those that require a higher level of knowledge or service.

In this role, you'll: 

  • Ensure all aspects of the administration process are delivered in accordance with agreed procedures and controls 
  • Take accountability for one-off projects
  • Undertake checking and oversight that the junior members of the team
  • Ensure we comply with our regulatory obligations in relation to any complaints 
  • Identify and interpret where clients’ circumstances lead to complexities with the processing of any financial services products 
  • Ensure that all goals are met and exceeded and financial planning product providers are provided with feedback 
  • Encourage advisers and assistants to complete all documentation prior to sending it to the centre to improve client service

The skills you'll need

A strong level of technical knowledge is required, you must be qualified to QCF level 4 under RDR in financial services.

Ideally, you'll have experience dealing with clients’ requirements in relation to suitability, and you’ll have a broad general knowledge of the financial services environment and financial services products. 

You'll be able to provide technical support and calculations and have the ability to articulate scenarios with confidence when dealing with clients by telephone and other communication mediums.
