What you'll do

You'll act as the second point of contact for clients, ensuring the efficient delivery of client requirements on behalf of the advisor.

Day to day, you’ll be:

  • Supporting your aligned advisor in meeting client service and performance targets and working with colleagues in other areas to meet client needs
  • Providing marketing and relationship support to the advisor
  • Making sure all reports, documentation and systems recording is technically accurate, compliant and provides 'best advice' for the client, while adhering to internal processes and procedures
  • Maintaining files and databases in accordance with bank guidelines, undertaking support tasks and working with colleagues in other parts of the bank to achieve objectives
  • Preparing client briefs for the authorised manager's client appointments, coordinating specialist workflow and liaising with private banking colleagues

You’ll earn the confidence of your customers with clear expertise in your field and astute advice communicated well. You’ll be an accomplished networker committed to sharing knowledge, and will use critical thinking skills to cut through complexity, and make sound decisions and recommendations.

We’re looking for a proactive, well organised person, with enthusiasm for learning and professional development.

You'll also:

  • Be willing to attend training sessions and undertake qualifications to develop relevant knowledge, skills and techniques
  • Show a commitment to achieve the appropriate benchmark qualifications within agreed time scales
  • Have good client relationship skills and technical knowledge of investment, credit and financial planning products
  • Show experience gained in a bank or other financial services role
  • Demonstrate experience of providing a high level of client service
  • Be numerate, with basic Microsoft Office skills
