User Experience Interaction Designer

London, United Kingdom

The Business

Join us in London as a User Experience Interaction Designer

  • As a User Experience Interaction Designer, you'll be responsible for the early cycle of UX through to wireframe delivery
  • You'll utilise user research, interviews and surveys, and translate them into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes

What you'll do

You'll take a leading role in delivering high quality and impactful client experiences across all our client-facing channels in Private Banking. We'll look to you to translate business requirements and core concepts into user flows, wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences. You'll also support the delivery of the product vision by researching, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products.

As well as this, you'll:

  • Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mock-ups optimised for a wide range of devices and interfaces
  • Collaborate with the team to solve function and feature issues related to new and existing products
  • Use critical thinking skills supported by evidence and metrics to cut through complexity, and make sound decisions and recommendations that are carefully balanced against risk
  • Earn the confidence of your customers with clear expertise in your field – which you’ll maintain through proactive formal and informal learning – and astute advice communicated well

The skills you'll need

We're looking for someone with experience designing brand identities, grid systems and editorial layouts to deliver digital applications for web, desktop and mobile. Along with the ability to refine other people’s ideas and come up with new ones to create a highly designed visual experience, you’ll have a restless focus on improvement, able to use the full extent of your knowledge and creativity to drive both incremental and radical innovations.

You'll also be:

  • Highly organised, responsible and dedicated, with the ability to work on multiple projects and deliver refined design in a short time
  • Self-motivated, able to learn new tools quickly and work well in a fast evolving environment
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch, Invision, UXPin, and other relevant design tools

How we'll reward you

In return, we offer a competitive salary and you'll also join our retirement savings plan. You can also choose from a selection of protection, healthcare or lifestyle extras from RBSelect, our fully flexible reward programme.
