  • You’ll be supporting our Private Bankers in delivering first rate client service and building strong client relationships within our International team

What you'll do

You’ll help us to deepen our client relationships and build trust by providing an exceptional service, and you’ll build and make use of a strong network across Coutts, RBS and external private client professionals, allowing you to get things done for your clients effectively and efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting your aligned Private Bankers in achieving team performance targets by conducting numerical and qualitative analysis to support their credit proposals
  • On-boarding new clients, and identifying potential referrals to the wider Coutts and RBS businesses
  • Helping the team to work efficiently by managing your Private Bankers’ diaries, preparing ahead of meetings, and managing client communication
  • Completing ad-hoc project work, allowing you to develop a broad range of skills
  • Continually building your personal knowledge of banking and credit, as well as a broader knowledge of finance and industry

The skills you'll need

Ideally, you'll have experience in a banking or financial services environment, with an understanding of everyday banking procedures. A good general awareness of credit stewardship would be an advantage, but most importantly you'll have the enthusiasm to learn new skills and to deliver a market leading banking service for our clients.

We'll also expect:

  • The passion to deliver an outstanding service to our clients, and think things through from their perspective
  • Fluency in Russian
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to really listen carefully to our clients’ needs, expectations and financial ambitions
  • Strong numeracy capabilities and proficiency with Microsoft Office
